"Well designed product, and a generally good, hard-working team. The company has experienced a lot of expansion in the past few years, and this is leading to some organizational problems. Instead of looking for the root of a problem, management likes to point fingers at operators and engineers. Production managers (there are two, for some reason) are constantly at war with each other, and neither has the demeanor to be in charge of a large, messy, manufacturing crew. Quarterly incentive payouts are nice to get, but as a salaried employee I do not think they are beneficial to the company overall. Individual operators are rated on efficiency, causing them to cut corners to stay on schedule. Instead of bringing issues up when they occur, they will be found by the customer instead. The major problem is management has unqualified family/friends employed as operators. This creates a "haves vs have nots" environment, where the least experienced workers are able to influence management. I do believe that there is some amount of racial bias with the management team."
