"The pay is good at $70-$85/hr. However, you have to buy your own health insurance, and no paid vacation, or 401k. The stability is terrible. But there are plenty of other contracts to keep you working if you are willing to move every 6 months or so.I would much prefer to be a Director at a full time permanent position. I continue to consult because it pays more cash than I could otherwise make, and for me, I need cash to pay bills."
