4.4 Valencia College has been part of my life since 2011 when I decide to got back to school and improve myself. I am found a lot of support for my professors and my career adviser. I had an internship at Valencia that turned into June a job at the Computer Lab. I have been working there since October. It is a great environment, but my supervisor could only give me 20 hours. The hours are definitely an issue. I would like a full time job that I can grow and earn a better salary.

3.2 This is a review for the Valencia East campus security department. I had to deal with a toxic coworker for several years and the senior management didn't do a thing. Worse, the last time I reported the coworker, director "L" transferred me to another campus and cut my hours. He then strung me along for months leading me to believe that he was going to transfer me back and resolve the situation when he had no intention of doing so. I've also seen another coworker openly insult a supervisor several times. Everyone in the office knew about it, the supervisor knew about it, but again senior management did nothing. They allow bad behavior. Reporting it is pointless. Unless you do something illegal you won't get written up or fired. Save yourself the trouble and don't work here, find somewhere else.

Valencia College is located in Orlando, Florida, and has an enrollment in excess of 50,000 students per year. This enrollment makes Valencia the third largest community college in Florida. The school was founded in 1967 as Valencia Junior College and became Valencia College in 1971.

Valencia was originally housed in a few portable buildings in 1967, but has rapidly expanded. Today, the school has five campuses: three in Orlando and one each in Winter Park and Kissimmee, FL. Valencia offers certificate, associate degree and two bachelor degree programs to its students. The college has an agreement with nearby University of Central Florida that enables graduates from associate degree programs to easily transfer to Central Florida to pursue a bachelor degree.
