"People in positions that do not need to be there. Most in management."

"To get along for the hospitals best interest and not treat the the staff in a demeaning way."

"Working with the best Oral Surgeons. Helping the residents during surgeries. Being in the operating rooms assisting with all procedures."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Great place if you don't mind letting things go. Each employee does only what is expected of them, no more and maybe a little less. Doctors are great and the residents are appreciative for any help you give them. Long hours and on your feet for most of them."

What don't you like about working at UT Southwestern Medical Center ?

"Working with some employees who did not have the skills to be in the position they were placed. Lazy employees who act like they are busy."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire people for the right positions. Not for the lowest salary. Have a lead assistant that they have to work with. Make sure all the instruments are sterilized and rooms are ready to go for the next day. Assist each doctor to their individual likes and dislikes. Have certain assistants for each individual doctor. Teach assistants to think ahead and have everything ready for the next procedure."
