What do you like about working at United States Coast Guard?

"I truly enjoyed working for the Coast Guard although like with any place you will occasionally come up against those that you do not get along with, but fortunately either you or they can transfer to a different duty station while still maintaining your time within the service."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared to do what is needed to get the job done and be diligent in your pursuit of doing things you may never get the opportunity to do again."

What don't you like about working at United States Coast Guard?

"The only thing that I did not like was being away from my family for extremely extended periods of time.(6 months or more)"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Most of the management was very good, although the reason that I left was because of one particular person that was my supervisor."
