"Everything. Shift focus from ships to shore based systems and not waste time on inconsequential changes"

"Organizationally it feels stagnant, at least at the offices I have worked at in the DC area. Also, I am not a fan of the heavy emphasis on homeland security since being integrated into the Dept Of Homeland Security."

"I would cut back on mission scope and reduce the number of civilian employees.I'd also focus on using free open source software and other cheap but useful tools."

"Supportive coworkers, responsive chain of command, clear paths to advancement"

"It's the military. Make sure you are comfortable taking orders, especially if you're coming in at the bottom. You are responsible for your progress. No one is going to hold your hand."

"Military is slow to adapt to change. That means it's not always easy to get new ideas out that improve work environments."

"There needs to be a better culture of support for new CG members."
