"It was fun working with so many clubs and institutions coming to conferences at the University."

"Be excited. Whether it is club sports or business professionals, they are all coming to the University seeking a fun and educational experience. You are the first person they meet, so make a good first impression."

What don't you like about working at University of Oregon?

"Your primary form of compensation was living expenses, with a small stipend. It was convenient, but didn't help much in paying for college."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They should allow conference coordinators access to the cafeteria at more normal hours. It was always after the conferences, when 90% of the time their was time and room for us to eat."

What don't you like about working at University of Oregon?

"The Stress added from my Manager who was losing his grip on his own work and adding to my workload every four hours after scheduling the day with me in the AM. In part I felt he was dishonest when I needed him to be genuine with me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be Honest about expectations and timelines. Don't take tasks away from the support staff and hand them right back."

"It's a great University to work for. A large percentage of jobs are hired from the inside, therefore knowing someone working there is a major key. Showing the drive is as important as qualifications for the lower skill positions."

What don't you like about working at University of Oregon?

"I had to stand for long period of time on my feet."

"I wouldn't change much, maybe disperse the lower end work to more employees."
