"Be prepared to repeat yourself and to expect to work independently."

What don't you like about working at University of the Pacific?

"The worst part would be the miscommunication between me and my supervisor. No matter how many notes, emails, or how many times I present my case to him he seems to understand at that moment but forgets everything the next day."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that the supervisor would take notes to prevent miscommunication."

"There are certain departments that are wonderful and certain ones you should avoid like the plague!"

What don't you like about working at University of the Pacific?

"I find the work in this particular department to be unfulfilling. It often feels like we on the same team aren't working for the same goals. The various power struggles within the department make it difficult to advance as a cohesive team. I also don't like the very clear delineation between salaried and unsalaried employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would collaborate with my group more at every level."
