"UMSL is a great place to work. The benefits are amazing, and make up for the middling pay. My boss is by far the best boss I've ever had. He gives me great autonomy in my job, and dictates what I should be working on, but not how I should be working. He trusts me to be productive, and I repay that trust."

Research Assistant

"I worked at MST from the year 2012 to 2014 as a Graduate Research Assistant. My experience with the working environment was excellent. My adviser was a lively person with a vast amount of knowledge in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). It was his continuous guidance and his experience which made me adept in my research topic. Overall it was a wonderful experience to carry out the research work at MST."

"I have worked with Mizzou Rec for about four years. They are excellent in working with students and their academic schedules. They primarily hire students, so it is a student run facility in terms of day to day operations. The professional staff are very dedicated to their work and communicate very well with the student staff. The recreation center is one of the best high education recreation facilities in the nation, and a lot of that must be attributed to the staff."

"I worked as a research assistant at the University of Missouri while I was doing my second master's degree in healthcare. My supervisor was my professor and there were two more students worked as research assistant like me. We had a good relationship and had cooperated with each other with study and work."

Consulting Assistant

"I have worked as a consultant with Dr. Thombs Lori to help a client who needed us to provide a reliable statistical analysis to support her local government project which was investigating the behavior of people living in a public community. During the cooperation, I communicated with the client and assisted professor to deal with messy data and write a clear proposal to clarify our methods and findings. In the end, the client used our analysis results as the reference in her project report."

"The Assessment Resource Center is an excellent place to work. The people are great and the technology is excellent. As part of the University of Missouri, the benefits are good, but the pay is generally lower than what you could expect elsewhere. If you're looking for a graduate degree and want help, this is a good place."
