"As a former automation intern at Schneider Electric, I was responsible for scaling the production line from manual to semi-automated and fully automated. I was one of the best examples of diversity and inclusion as I did not speak the local language or was not accustomed to the local culture. I learned the most out of there and that experience helped me decide my future career path."

"I have studied at department of materials science and engineering at Univeristy of Maryland-College Park since August, 2013. So far, I spent a very enjoyable time there. The department and the whole campus provide full range of state-of-the-art scientific facilities to support the research work. The professor working in the department are professional but friendly. You could discuss your problems encountered in your research with them, they would like to try their best to help you succeed."

"I've been studying and working at the University of Maryland, college park in the field of robotics for about a year now; the overall experience at Maryland robotics center was good, and most of it was learning, as I got many opportunities to explore the ideas and worked upon under the guidance of our professors. I would recommend all students join their field of interest and try to contribute to making a difference. The environment was both positive as well as challenging."

"This is a laboratory setting in a research institute. People are very focused on particular subject matter. There is quite a lot of freedom in picking your subject matter and doing the research required to answer your intended querries. However, control is so relaxed that one could get lost in the process of finding a good project to work on... also compensation is low and the means of progressing isn't clear."
