4.2 I have worked for the University of Iowa since 2009. Since 2017 I have been in a Planner/Scheduler role for one of the many maintenance areas. I have created a lot of great memories and built many professional and personal relationships throughout my career. The benefits are tremendous. I think it is hard to find any type of comparable benefits with other employers. Compensation is average to below average, mainly because of the total benefit package. I do enjoy the ability to learn, on the job and by taking different management/leadership classes, as well as anything that pertains to the job as well. Resources are limitless, within reason. Knowing others around you and learning from them is critical in growing within the organization. There is a great freedom that we have being able to work without interruptions and at a pace that is practical while juggling many different facets of the job.

4.3 I was an active member of the University of Iowa Men's Gymnastics team from 2009-2014, which is a Division 1 University. Iowa is also a part of the Big Ten Conference, which is one of the strongest conferences in the country. Throughout my 5 years of participation, the overall team performance has dramatically improved. There are only eighteen total spots available on the team.

4 This facility is a great place to work. There are many educational opportunities and you can learn so much! Many varieties of nursing positions so you can find something you like. Good benefits and competitive salary. I enjoy my co-workers and always meet someone new every day.

University of Iowa Overview The University of Iowa was founded in 1847 in Iowa City, Iowa, just 59 days after Iowa became a state. With notable attendees like James Van Allen, it is widely known as a superior research facility and has one of the largest teaching hospitals in the country. Additionally, it was the first public institution to offer the Master of Fine Arts degree providing academic credit for creative work. The university-sponsored Iowa Writers' Workshop has produced 13 Pulitzer Prize winners.
