"I enjoyed my time working for the Digital Worlds Institute at the University of Florida, the co workers and supervisors were very knowledgeable and hard working except for the director of the program. We had access to cutting edge technology including a wireless motion capture set and 3D scanning tools."

"The University of Florida is a highly prestigious college that develops and molds young aspiring students to do great things in this world. My goal at the University was to take advantage of their resources and to develop strong critical thinking skills. I also believe that the University has helped me with my communication skills. My competence in Civil Engineering is high, but I am confident enough to say that there is room for me to grow."

"IT department is soloed and it can be difficult to work with groups outside of your own. The lower tier employees are drastically under paid for their contributions and there is no clear promotional path for a continued career."

"I have worked at the University of Florida throughout my college career as a tutor, a researcher, and a grader. As a researcher, I mainly focused on my Master's Thesis work which consisted of testing control software with a robotic testbed. It was a great working experience as I had gotten the chance to see the software transition into physical experiments."

"I've worked at UF IAC since August 2019. It has been a thrilling journey ever since. It has helped me learn various tools and technologies related to the field of engineering which has helped in expanding my knowledge and understanding of how the industry functions. Apart from my technical growth it has also developed me as person. It has taught me the importance of leadership and team building"

"I've worked for UF since 2017, gaining experience with AV technology and computer hardware and software. The University offers decent benefits, but there is no policies and procedures in place for a graduated pay scale and career development. Very rarely do they even give COLA increases. I would only suggest if desperate for lower than industry average income and work-life balance."
