"IT department is soloed and it can be difficult to work with groups outside of your own. The lower tier employees are drastically under paid for their contributions and there is no clear promotional path for a continued career."

The University offers decent benefits, but there is no policies and procedures in place for a graduated pay scale and career development. Very rarely do they even give COLA increases. I would only suggest if desperate for lower than industry average income and work-life balance."
