"I worked for the University of La Verne for almost Three years. It is an amazing institution, but the athletics department graduate assistants are worked relentlessly. I put in 120+ hrs some weeks and had to sleep in the office. But, that is the price of tuition remission I guess. The institution is beautiful, but the compensation doesn't justify the work."

"There is limited room for growth in my department and there are currently no opportunities in other areas."

"It would be welcomed if there was more room for growth/promotion within the office that you are employed"

"That it was a place in which I also went to school, thus no traveling."

"Just be prepaired that a large research request could be given to them at any time, regardless of scholastic obligations."

"The fact that as a general nature of the position I may be asked to do extensive research on a subject the same day I had a final."

"Just to priortize, and not to procrastinate. Waiting long periods of time prior to begining any work can create a tense working environment."

"What I liked most about working at ULV was the work environment, colleagues were most helpful in teaching us about how to creat worksheets for tracking certain information for the registrar's office. They gave us challenges to help us expand as professionals."
