What do you like about working at United Way Worldwide?

"It was a great opportunity to gain real experience with a well-known and respected non-profit. It also looks excellent on your resume for fulture employment, and the helpful and supportive style of the senior managment, like Kevin Stone, and Development Director Hope Moore is barely comparable."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just remember, be confident, anyone who can be trained and has some level of belief in their own ability can do this job. Raising money for our community should start with our hearts and end with our heads."

What don't you like about working at United Way Worldwide?

"As with any temporary position, the time goes by quickly, and I don't recall there being many open opportunities offered to our team, of over 30 people, to advance within the UWMB. However, it is a wonderful stepping stone."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be kind and considerate to the legs of your campaign operation...remember, it takes all of us working together, not just a few well connected people."
