"When i hired on in 2004, this was a great place to work , good benefits, ok pay , but starting in 2017 company profits became more important than the people. Began furloughing/laying off, people by the hundreds, At the same time announcing record profits quarterly, in 2018 hired a lot of new mechanics, for the La Basin , and less than 6 mouth later lay them all off, these where people with families that quit jobs to come work for Union Pacific, in 2020, lay off 500 supervisor, destroyed a union all in the name of profits."
