"Bank of America ruined this company. Countrywide was a much better company than Bank of America ever was. Bank of America will be out of business too within 5 years if they do not get their act together REAL QUICK."

"Loan program guidelines were tighter than other lenders at the time."

"The lender was only open for about six months, then sold to Wachovia. So did not give the office time to establish and grow."

"The company was more interested in number of files done than quality. Our office however had a manager who went with quality over volume."

"The imaging system had good work flow for underwriters."

"That the volume of loans done was more important to them than the quality."

"None the company is closed due to poor upper management, allowing greed and sales staff to override investor guidelines ."

"The bank had just opened the mortgage division after a few months sold the bank & mortgage division"

"The loan programs were more conservative, as this was a division of a bank new to doing single family mortgages."
What don't you like about working at Wachovia?
"The mortgage division had just been open for a few months and was not given the attention needed to grow."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"No suggestions, do not know why they opened a mortgage division and then sold the bank and mortgage divisions to Wachovia, who then closed the office."
