"The UC San Diego Bookstore has a great atmosphere and is an enjoyable place to work at every day. Specifically, the Marketing Department works hard to meet client needs and advertise upcoming events and sales to improve customer satisfaction among students, staff, and faculty. It is truly a friendly and welcoming environment."

"I started out as a volunteer for the San Diego Supercomputer Center. I was hired to work full-time as a Programmer/Data Analyst because they liked my work. I found it difficult to move up because I do not have a PhD. Unions and state budgets continue to present problems for some departments."
