"Working for the county is not as amazing as it used to be. The pay is not comparable to other hospitals. The only plus side is the benefits and pension. Work environment is good and non strenuous. Employees have a union so raises are negotiated through them instead of on work merit which makes it difficult if you have a lazy employee because evaluation does not increase or decrease your raise."
