"I worked for the UCI Rocket Project for about 9 months while attending the University of California, Irvine to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The project consisted of over 40 undergraduate students and was led by a professor in the mechanical and aerospace engineering department. During my time in the project, we built and tested the largest liquid bi-propellant rocket engine developed by undergraduate students. The UCI Rocket Project provides students with invaluable experience in engineering projects by allowing students to gain hands on experience in conducting performance tests, designing and developing launch vehicles, and creating procedures and documentation."
