"great work environment trades off low pay and lack of advancement. Not a sustainable long term career, but excellent for a very interesting short term stint"

"lack of funding from state of california, lack of advancement opportunities"

"none - mgmnt consists of professors on committees and they do their best"

"Most of the junior staff and middle managers are great people...too good for the likes of that place"

"Run!! Go work somewhere else. Del Taco would be better than this place."

What don't you like about working at University of California, Irvine?

"The AVC, Deputy Director and most of the senior staff, with the exception of Joe Rizkallah. The AVC in charge of the office is a controlling, rude, unethical, self-serving SOB who lives to put his staff down to make himself feel like a man."

"Stop trying to control people and start treating your staff with respect. The fact that the staff performs well is not because of your hard-line tactics. It is despite your treatment of them that they are so good."
