I formally worked in many IT roles and disciplines and took a leadership role rather early in my career, working my way up from a computer tech to the highest technical position in the company. I had a hand in developing, from virtually nothing, the largest and most professionally run administrative network that campus had ever seen."

"poor room for career growth, lots of bad managers, high number of complaints of discrimination and retaliation."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"More even-handed employment practices, better opportunities for career growth, less tolerance for poor managers and unethical practices. More attention to ethics and less attention to politics."
