What do you like about working at Troxell Communications?

"I loved all the technology products. I love a challenge, and learning all the new products kept me invigorated. Working with the schools was extremely satisfying, planning the installations of projectors, projector screens, sound systems, and all the infrastructure that goes along with it, and then seeing it all come together was rewarding."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Enjoy learning, because when you represent 400 lines of product you constantly have new product launches."

What don't you like about working at Troxell Communications?

"I was told that I would be making $100,000-150,000, but as soon as I took over the territory the economy turned south, technology levies stopped passing in the school districts, and the schools stopped spending money. My biggest school district went from $2.5M/yr to almost zero because they had no more money. That was 2/3 of my territory in one account (and therefore 2/3 of my pay)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to the field reps more, they are your eyes and ears to what's going on in the marketplace."
