"I worked for Tropitone Furniture Company since 2001. The Company was acquired in Sept of 2014 by a holding company and subsequently sold to a private equity firm. Tropitone operated without its own CEO for the last 4 years and has maintained its operations with little communication from the Corporate/PE firm during that time. Corporate terminated many of the local managers and key employees at the point of the California Covid 19 shutdown, At this time, I do not know if the owners will restart operations in Irvine."
