"Tompkins is still very new in their particular industry. Processes are not in place to develop well engineered products. Unfortunately due to some 'cashflow' issues, including a 10% reduction in force as well as a 10% payroll deferral, the issues of moving products too quickly is in full effect. Every design job is rushed and incomplete, which makes for more work in the field and unhappy customers. Even from upper management there is a culture of assigning blame and finger pointing rather than working together to find a solution. It makes the office feel more adversarial than teamwork oriented, and it's a shame, because they do have some talented people."
