"Don't look for real team cooperation. The departments do not work well together. If the ideas aren't theirs then it will be rejected. Very closed-minded, though they think that they are ahead of the curve, having come from a school in Mississippi, they are 10 years behind the times."

What don't you like about working at Tompkins Cortland Community College?

"The administration was not open to new ideas or willing to expand into new areas. Most dept. were not open to cross-disciplinary courses. In general they did not want to be in the forefront of education and considered cutting edge teaching as disruptive."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Open their eyes to real world problems. Live up to agreements and commitments that were made."
