What do you like about working at T.J. Maxx?
"Tjmaxx is a very fast paced environment. There are a lot of people to cover shifts. You keep very busy."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you like to work hard with no pay, go for it :)"
What don't you like about working at T.J. Maxx?
"There are too many people, managers sometimes forget your name. Your hours are too spread out, even when you work almost 5/7 days. Employees are not trained properly, they just tell you to go and do it, not the proper way. Rules change often. When asking how to do one thing, a person will say one thing and if you ask another person the same question, they will tell you differently. There are often time restraints on a task and you're constantly asked if you're done with the task or not. You are asked to do many things all at the same time, making it very difficult to finish one task and finish another."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would utilize employees more efficiently and also treat them more with respect. I would not pick favorites and give responsibilities out evenly."
