What do you like about working at Tipiacera Restaurant?
"Spain Restaurant is by far one of the best restaurants in Rhode Island in my opinion. Spain had and has an exclusive and loyal cliental. The product that left the kitchen at Spain was superb every dish was finely executed from taste to plate presentation. The owners of Spain Restaurant husband and wife are the kindest people and allowed me to work my way up from busboy all the way up to General Manager. If the Captains (Head Waiters) worked hard tips are fantastic. Waiting tables at Spain full time could be a very lucrative job."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Interviewing in the hospitality and service industry, I would suggest being clean pressed, clean shaven and overall presentable. Nobody wants an unpresentable server serving their family and friends, especially in a high class restaurant."
What don't you like about working at Tipiacera Restaurant?
"I really enjoyed working at Spain Restaurant from my first day of employment to the last. The reason I left the Job at Spain was to pursue a career in Mortgage Financing. I have nothing bad to say about Spain."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If I had to offer any suggestions it would be that there where to many chiefs and not enough Indians. An old saying; Most of the Captains (Head Waiters) thought that they were too good to do the little day-to-day jobs. Example: Cleaning chairs, banisters, windows, watering plants, cleaning the water fountain etc"
