"No room for growth at my company. There is no stress and no micro managing, which is nice. But not a great spot for engineers to grow and move on with their careers. Company is constantly changing and there is a lot of fires and new hires randomly."

"I love the work I was hired for and the people I work for and with. I enjoy meeting with high level business people to discuss their business objectives and offering expert advice in business developement and marketing stragtegies."

"Be honest with youself and with the employer. This job is a very competitive position and there are a lot of companies out there providing these services. You will need to be passionate about your decision and about print/marketing in order to have a succesful career in this field. Good luck..."

What don't you like about working at Thomas Publishing?

"I feel the sales role and the compensation has been turned into more of a web designer position. I am a sales professional, that is my skill set as well as what makes me happy and content. I don't like the fact that there are no bennefits."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest looking at professionals who have the expertise in selling B2B with much success for a position with the company. In my experience a seasoned professional with an excellent performance history wouldn't take a position that he or she thinks would be out of the skill set for that person and look for someone who is eager to learn and has current relationships with business owners as well as affiliates that can refer business in these trying times."
