"Terrible agency. The leadership in the Richmond office is unsupportive, prideful, and patronizing. We were consistently reminded that we were "not parents," we were "employees," and as such, our opinion of our foster child's needs "did not matter." Yes, those are Bair's words from emails. Instead of listening to our concerns, they revoked our sponsorship, while we were still in compliance. We continued to do everything necessary to maintain sponsorship, but the child was moved from our adoptive placement after 6 months because they did not want to deal with us anymore, and they found another home without communicating any of that to us. The actions were underhanded and illegal. They did not consider the child's best interest. They did not support us. Stay away. Avoid this pain. Find another foster agency.
