What do you like about working at Tessera?

"Most of the employees there are friendly including the engineers. The paralegal who provided me work was a cool guy and they were somewhat flexible about my hours--I could come in earlier to finish up my 8 hours."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you're going to work with the attorneys or legal staff, a sense of humor will help make you feel comfortable, but most of all, patience and some initiative by either pitching in ideas or looking for work instead of asking for it."

What don't you like about working at Tessera?

"My supervisor who's actually in charge was a pretty nice lady in general, but when she stressed out, the mood of the environment dampens a bit and becomes more serious than it has to be."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I suppose if they're going to hire someone for extra help whether it's temporary or permanent, identify clearly what they're going to do and if they need to learn new software, make some time for training at least to get it out of the way. That would benefit everyone."
