Tendon Systems Structural Engineers Employee

"The management watches people very closely. They counting your mouse clicks so that they know how much you are using each program. I am not joking. Supervisors and specially chief engineer will tell you that they are on your side and that you should always feel comfortable coming to them and asking questions, but when you come to them with questions they treat you like you are total scum, and that they have so much important stuff to deal with and that you are just another annoyance. They will also stab on your back because they will give you a project with unreal expectations and then despite telling you that they completely understand why the drawings and designs are late. In the last few months engineering department has become divided into clicks based on ethnicity and nationality. Everyone else is on their own when it comes to sharing work information, helping each other to get projects completed, or going to lunch. No matter how long you work there, how much effort you put into your job, how much you sacrifice to make things work so you can keep your job, no matter what are you going through personally, or how much respect you show to your supervisors, they will never treat you with a reasonable amount of respect. If you are a regular lower middle class hard working employee you will get almost no respect, and one day you will be fired for no good reason, or you will just be treated like dirt until you decide to quit. Something that they don’t realize is that when they fire someone, that person was already looking for a way out of that job, and if the management reading this review, maybe it will help them to know that most of Engineering and drafting staff are currently looking for another job because they can’t stand the way that they are treated"
