"It is a large corporation with strong national coverage."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Speaking for the northeast territory only they should avoid working here. I have spoken to a couple of recruiters who refuse to place candidates with this group which speaks volumes as to the issues with this company."

What don't you like about working at Temple-Inland?

"It was poorly managed at the district level. They are very aware of problems at the local level but refused to take action to solve them. The management was newly hired from a competitor that failed and they a brought the same failed tactics to Temple-Inland. They worked as a personal club that resulted in no trust in going to them to work out issues. The end result was lost sales and a situation where gaining new business was impossible. The Madison Ohio location was the smallest facility and furthest away in the district and had no support."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The district management should be removed and professionals brought in who can properly do the job. The good old boy system must be eliminated for them to be successful."
