"Some employees are nice, and made an effort to help new hires, or to help morale when they could."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Technical ability seems to be prized over communication skills or politeness. Be prepared to be blamed, yelled at, and called into unnecessary meetings regularly."

What don't you like about working at Teleformix?

"Management is bad from the top down. Culture of blame leads to mistrust between employees. Training method is figure it out yourself. Promotion to manager is not based on ability to lead, as a result some managers are technically good but are sorely lacking in people skills and leadership ability. There is no feeling of being on the same team, instead it's this department vs. that department, and if you make a mistake, expect to be thrown under the bus - finger-pointing and blame are key elements of the job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The best leaders work to earn respect rather than to create fear. Management should pay more attention to the culture of the company, and encourage cooperation and teamwork"
