What do you like about working at Technicolor?
"They employees stick together and really bond, making it helpful to get through the general abuse and HR violations suffered through by management."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"One of the most under paid companies for all positions if working in the Camarillo, CA location. With no supervision out their on their own you will not even get the support of HR if harassed. I give them a year to two years before they shut the doors in that location. Stick to the locations in Burbank and Glendale if you really want to be involved in anything innovative or revenue making."
What don't you like about working at Technicolor?
"The fact that they treat all their employees like cattle. I'm sure they are heartbroken they were not allowed to brand us."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Perhaps if they cleaned house a bit and got some new and current talent running the show in house, it would be a great revenue creating location. However with the general lack of compliance to their own said HR rules and doing all studios work virtually for free. I don't see how they can even consider themselves a top runner in any field of business. My guess is the Shareholders have no clue that Technicolor Dist and Mfg department is running themselves out of business. All whilst building an environment on the cusp of a class action suit for a Hostile Environment. This is definitely one of the worst managed places due to lack of experience in the upper management circle, which contains nothing more than an old circle of call center folks who somehow made their way up the ranks, lacking the innate ability to bring new and innovative ideas to the table and an utter lack of how to manage and motivate people. Prisoners receive more respect than the employees of this division in Camarillo, CA. I truly believe the more complaints about this location that go into the EEOC may possibly bring about change. Or closure of this location."

"Minimal growth opportunity; limited benefits (no 401K match); constant work force reductions; no wage raises for 2009."

"Need to find alternate ways to provide incentives for worker performance in lieu of monetary compensation."
