"TASC is generally a good government contractor to work for. I do believe they probably have one of the highest base salary compensations in the D.C. metro area. However, there have been a lot of cuts since the defense budget got cut. This has reduced the management roles significantly and reduced most of the internal R&D opportunities and roles. Most of the benefits have been slowly shrinking in the past couple of years. One doesn't want to be on the bench for long."

"I have worked with TASC for several years. The company has cut benefits several times to be more competitive. When contracts end they let the employees go rather than try to find additional work. There seems to be no upward movement for employees with a desire to progress to higher ranks within the company."
