"Teamwork and sharing information between engineers. Was a great place to work and had 100 year history in telecommunications."

"This company will not be interviewing. Not to many left, I lasted longer than most."

What don't you like about working at Nortel?

"Bankruptcy! From the last 10 years of my career Nortel started layoffs because of taking on to much det buying business that didn't fit there model. Employees were unable to move to other jobs as layoffs were happening regularly. Employees felt more secure staying in position they were in as they had more experience then if they took on a new job within the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Great job, I personally knew the CEO and president, the culture of the company is to know its workers."

"There is nothing I did not like. It is a great company - just lacking in work."
