"The company has a good track record as a defense and national security-focused professional services firm (around the Washington DC area, such outfits are colloquially known as Beltway Bandits - the term not carrying any pejorative association when used by Beltway insiders). Working conditions are generally pretty good. The nature of the work (and thus stability of one's job), though, is highly contract-dependent. Contract cuts, leading to often brutal layoffs, can come out of the blue."
