CNC Programmer

"I've been employed with Swanson Industries for 7 1/2 years. I was hired to fix & run a Kearney & Trecker MM800 horizontal mill in which I suceeded. I worked with tech support and machine schematics to achieve my goal. I then excelled to a foreman postition and then as a planner. I have worked as a machinists since 1991 running several different manual machines before learning g code, mazatrol & brother control programming. I went to school at TMA in Chicago to learn Mastercam software programming. I love learning new machinery and software. My passion is machining parts and coming up with better ways of making products quicker. I have my own measuring tools from 1-6 mics, 6", 12" & 24 " dial calipers as well as many other machinists tools within my Kennedy Roller box. I would love to get back in the machine shop and start cutting chips!!"

Logistics Coordinator

"Overall this company was great for building experience and getting my feet wet in mechanical engineering. However the company was in the middle of a buyout and therefore was a lot of management juggling causing confusion and lack of organization in my opinion."
