"Teaching as an adjunct isn't an easy job. It's a lot of work but not a lot of pay or benefits. It's also quite isolating. I don't have much contact with the other adjuncts or full-time faculty. It might be nice as a part-time job but it's certainly no way to make a decent living."

"SUNY Maritime College has a long standing tradition of excellence in the Maritime industry. We are a college of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. I am very fulfilled in the performance of my duties. I enjoy the personnel, the day-to-day challenges, and the location. Unfortunately I have come to the end of my 1yr contract. I'm going to miss it here."

"I have been employed at my present job for three years. Although it has been a rewarding place to work, over these past years. The ability to progress and harness the talent I possess is almost impossible. It is a great starter but I need to spread my wings and allow for my talent to grow, elsewhere."
