Research Project Coordinator

"I have worked in research for SUNY Binghamton since 2014. It is a friendly working environment where novel ideas and initiatives are strongly encouraged. Management is fair with a hands-on approach without resulting in micromanaging."

"I have been part of SUNY Downstate for one year and I had amazing support from our infectious disease department. My program director as well as other physicians take their role very seriously and provide safe and great training opportunities. Also, the physicians are very respectful towards all fellows and provide continual support. I'm very satisfied with my experience."

"I have worked for SUNY Oswego for over ten years. Over the time spent I've met some incredible co-workers. However, the union, and management have been very difficult along the way. They will provide invaluable training to help you move up, but the opportunity to do so will be stifled frequently. I appreciate the benefits and training provided. But the culture needs a lot of work."

"I have worked as Laboratory Assistant for SUNY Brockport since 2019. The staff is very approachable and willing to work with student schedules. As a teaching assistant, you get a great fundamental knowledge of chemical concepts and as a preparation assistant, you get to learn new techniques. "I am working as Research Assistant in High Performance System and Architecture Laboratory in SUNY Buffalo. The research environment here motivates all of us to look around and explore rather than following a chalked path. Their is a extremely nice hierarchy in flow of ideas and implementation from Professor to Senior PhD to Junior PhD to Graduates. I have learnt a lot here!"

"The people in the art department are incredibly clear about what they expect their models to show up. The downside of all this is that it is a first-come, first-serve basis if you even want to work with the teachers in the art department. The teachers who "employ" you are incredibly nice and would even refer you to other sources if you go above and beyond their expectations."
