"The key values and company mission are always on your tongue, but nothing you do will reflect them. Everything you do will be micromanaged at every level or position and you will be expected to micromanage those around you, not even just those that work for you. If you've been around long enough and have the right name, you'll have an ear, but at that point, you are also probably well-versed and taken in with the status quo. It was recommended I work double shifts and was expected to approve every priority and request unless I got permission first."

"I have worked for Sunrun for a little over 2 years, Overall it was a good company to work for, with descent leadership but the way they handled themselves during times of crisis (Covid-19) was not ethical and was completely against their core values."

"I worked for sunRun recruiting sales people for field positions. I love recruiting. I think sunRun is a great company and doing important environmental work. Solar is our future. I loved my coworkers, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end."

"Great place to do meaningful climate-impacting work. Management could be better at communicating and more transparent. Overall it's a place where you trade off some pay and benefits to work in an industry that is changing the world for the better."

"This is the top solar company in the country with great partnerships and backing to show our value here. The longevity of the company will play well against lots of other solar companies."

"Great colleagues and great immediate managers. Higher leadership and product vision is lacking. Lay offs occur frequently in San Francisco because company is shifting workforce to lower cost cities."
