"The school did not have behavioral support for students who needed staff in the class at the time due to repeated fights breaking out. Only one behavioral support staff member was allotted to the school, making the job very difficult. No curriculum was provided for any of the subjects taught and it was expected for the teachers in a particular department to create curriculums for a few subjects taught per teacher with sole use of the internet. Students were passed even with poor behavioral and well-below-failing-grades so that no child was left behind, leaving little incentive for kids to learn and respond to the curriculum provided by the teachers. Teachers were expected to follow-up with parents regularly in response to poor academic and behavioral success, but without support from the school in any consequences being in place, teachers were overworked in their attempts to push student success and many felt defeated."
