"I am paid less and admittedly this has been a point of contention amongst the team. However, they revamped the commission structure to increase the amount we earn from the same sales which has been fantastic. A better base other than practically minimum wage would be welcome.
Base is $55k with goal projections bringing the total to $60k. As of this moment, I have outperformed goal by over 100% in March and April, and have effectively covered my base salary in MRR generated. It gives you leverage when negotiating, but a higher base from the start would make Subsplash more competitive and allow us to focus more on the consulting side of our job rather than the data gathering for sales."
