"Unrealistic in the company's expectation of availability. No personal time due to the hours that were required to work."

"The higher the position and the level of responsibility, the more perks that should be given, like weekends or evenings off."

"The kids, they were so much fun! Another thing, was seeing the parents faces when they loved the pictures."

"Just listen to your surroundings, customers, employees, and management. You would be surprised at the results from just listening to other opinions and gestures."

"They were not very flexible and at the time I was a student."

"Listen to your employees. If you have happy employees, you will have happy customers."

"Upper management was very nice and willing to work with personal life,"
What don't you like about working at Kiddie Kandids?
"The company was not real good at manageing how to spend money, they would bye things for the studios to help the appearance of them when they in truth looked great to begin with. I believe that this was what led to their bankrupcy."

"It was the perfect job and company with no signs of finacial hardships until they closed their doors with no notice due to bankruptcy. Can explain more if needed."
What do you like about working at Kiddie Kandids?
"It is a team and family atmosphere, everyone knew everyone in the company, always took care of their employee's, the customers were family and the brand was lived out by all staff."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"None now. - They are out of business."
What don't you like about working at Kiddie Kandids?
"When the lab failed to do quality control before shipping out products. Other then that everything was wonderful. Since they closed the doors I just wish they would have been honest with their staff considering we were all loyal to them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Just to be honest and loyal to their staff. If we work hard and are loyal to you we would expect the same."

What do you like about working at Nordstrom?
"I like the coworkers, fancy presentation of the department store, and the name of the company, even if the store treats you poorly."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It's just a temporary job. Use it like a great training tool. The company still has a good name from the past, so on your resume it will look good that you work for them."
What don't you like about working at Nordstrom?
"I dislike lies, made-up sweetness and politics, hiring new young associates so the company can save $$ on a pay, health benefits, and 401. There is no engagement between higher management and store team cutting off bonuses. To make the story short, ten years ago it was a good company, but not right now!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Go back to the fundamentals - people, treat them well, and keep up with the real expectations and not dreams. Have real goals - not fairy tale ones. Respect and try to keep core associates who invested their lives to Nordstrom."

"It was a great company! Loved the people, the work and the clients."

"Be yourself. The staff in down to earth."

"It is advertising...it is tempermental. I only left because we resigned the main client I worked on...I knew change was in the pipeline."

"Sometime the silos were too much in place...we needed more open communication and cross function of responsibilities"

"I love the personal contact that I have with people and the personal relationship I get to build."

"Sometimes because everyone is so personable, professionalism goes out the window and it feels like a family."

"I honestly believe that management consistently goes above and beyond to do what is best for the company."

"Be yourself. If you are creative, be creative. Of you are technical, be technical."

"I was too young to understand the job. After being away for a few years, I know what the job was about and would probably do a better job and have more fun."

"Give your studio manager a hug every single day."
