Storeroom Solutions Employee

"This is one of the worst companies I have ever been employed by. They have serious deceptive, evil, manipulative hiring practices. They tell you in the interviews that you will be coming in as a low paid, salaried Buyer, permanent, full time and work hours at 50 or 55 per week. Then after you are on board, you are also a Materials Manager and Supervisor of the attendants. Plus, will be required to work 84-100+ weekly hours and be available and on call by cell 24/7 to include weekends, holidays, nights, vacations. They hire employees when they get into serious backlogs of work for their clients... and when the work is complete or caught up they lay you off. I left another position for this company and they used me for a month to catch up on purchasing. Then, after 28 days, I was called at home and told the client did not need me any longer and was out of a job. Their managers do not have college degrees and feel very threatened by others that are well educated. When they feel a threat, they sabotage your job, lie, take the credit for your work, prevent you from getting training or obtaining needed information. This is a very Mickey Mouse, no life balance, company with a seriously outdated computer system, have no means to do purchasing by catalog, everything is done the old fashioned way... by phone and on paper. There is no way to promote and you have to move in order to stay with this company. I would not recommend this no technology company to anyone. I have no idea how this company has managed to stay in business. They are paying their salaried employees minus wages. You are not even making $1.00 per hour, after all the hours you are required to work."
