"The problem was that the economy did not help my store situation and therefore had to close the doors."

"I think that I should have had a partner to help with decisions and the work load."

"Working with the customers, in all honesty not much else, I miss working in construction."

What don't you like about working at Plaza Sweets Cards and Gift?

"Long days without compensation. When I worked in construction I had a sense of accomplishment."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There really isn't any since I own the store and there isn't anything I can do to control the population of the surrounding buildings."

"Since I was the store owner there was lots of things to do so I need to get help and this would imply to pay payroll and if you did not have enough sales to cover the bills and expenses then you will not have enough to get employees to make it grow."

What do you like about working at EmbroidMe?

"I like the flexibility of the schedule and being able to make open decisions without getting approval from someone else."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Yes you need to have extra money in the bank before going into your own business otherwise you will need to borrow from the bank if not able to pay the bills."

What don't you like about working at EmbroidMe?

"There were no Health benefits so this was a down point. Also No 401 (k) plan or retirement plan."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Need to have some cash saved before going into your own business because there is a lot of expenses and bills to be paid and if sales did not generate enough you will need to come up with the money somehow."
