"I've worked for the Stockton-San Joaquin Public Library as a shelver since 2014 after volunteering there for four years. There are opportunities for a regular schedule and each branch provides a different atmosphere and entails a variety of job responsibilities. They are generally flexible with hours and will work with college students' schedules. Shelving is mostly backroom work, but higher positions offer more interaction with library patrons. Overall a pleasant employer and work environment."
