1.3 Horrible place to work. Supervisors do a poor job. Horrible communication among Staff. Way too much nepotism in the hiring process. Merit and qualifications mean little to nothing in the hiring/promotion process. If you work for SOM and want a promotion, you won't get it unless your relative or friend is making the hiring decision. Not a job worth devoting your time and effort to. There is no reward for doing that.

2.4 State of Maine is unsatisfying and the pay is poor. Also, many of the OIT staff are hold-overs from years past, and are not skilled, knowledgeable, or remotely qualified to work in IT.
