"The staff at the bank are genuinely interested in doing more and growing the business. They are very friendly and exceedingly helpful. The community was a great place to work and live."

"Realize that the bank will grow now that they have a new Chairman. He is very skilled as a banker and a manager. Understand that there is limited banking expertise within the bank and outside consultants will be needed."
What don't you like about working at State Bank of DeKalb?
"The board didn't want to improve the appearance to the bank and seemed overly interested in conserving capital and growing the distributions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Feel free to outsource more of the projects and operations to third parties. The expertise to do some of the things that is needed to bring the bank forward is not found in the bank and can only be trained from outside experts."
