"In my honest opinion the only pro is that you learn a lot of things. The cons outweigh the pros by far, especially if you’re a woman. Work life balance is almost nonexistent since it is an on call job, it’s basically impossible to move up or get raises. Some of my coworkers have been there for over 10 years and only have gone $5 up from base pay. when asking for a raise they get nothing other than jokes. The management is ridiculous and sometimes laughable. you’ll have to work in over 110 degree weather, below freezing (the only way they would let you go home is if OSHA makes them) temperatures and you will receive no hazard pay whatsoever, no matter what you’re doing or how dangerous it is. Everyone talks about wanting to leave. If you’re a woman wanting to work here, be warned, no one listens to you or takes you seriously unless you make a big deal about it and even then, people will sometimes take credit for your work and/or your ideas and it’s so obvious you are not respected. Nothing gets taken seriously there, managers make inappropriate and overall insensitive remarks 24/7, physical altercations get pushed under the rug. They say in their job listing that you aren’t a number on a spreadsheet but you 100% are. it’s fun when you first start and some of the jobs you go to are fun or crazy or exciting, but the longer you stay the more you realize just how bad it really is. going over the top and putting your all into your work doesn’t even matter to anyone and you never get any recognition or reward in return so no one has any motivation to actually work on top of the unfair pay. It really isn’t worth it long term."

"I’ve worked for Stanely Steemer for many years! They provide excellent services and have the best culture in the industry! The company is committed to providing services that meet the current customer demand for multiple flooring and emergency first responders services. Stanley Steemer is completely private held and most locations are locally owned."

"Stanley Steemer is a great company that does a lot of moving up within. Stanley Steemer can give people the opportunity to prove how hardworking and dedicated you can be, and ur paycheck will reflect it. Anyone willing to put forth the effort can make as much as they want, and I do mean anyone, from an 18 year old fresh out of high school to a bachelor's graduate from college."

"I love working for Stanley Steamer, but when it comes to the owner he thinks of his employees like numbers instead of people and the company always holds over our heads that if a piece of equipment breaks even under normal wear and tear that it will be deducted from our paychecks. I was let go from this company because I had a family emergency in another state and they didn't want me to go and I went anyway."
